Tile Installation Tips

• Installation is acceptance of material.  No material can be returned once it has been installed.

• If you are installing the material yourself, it is highly recommended you educate yourself prior to undertaking the task.  There are many do-it-yourself manuals available from your local bookstore or library as well as many informative sites on the Internet.

• Due to the color variances inherent to all natural stone, it is recommended you lay out all sheets of tile and blend them together.  This will allow you to choose how the material will flow for your design. 

• It is IMPERATIVE that all natural stone and grout joints be sealed after installation.  This will protect your stone and ensure you will enjoy its beauty for years to come.  There are many good sealers on the market today.  There are sealers that penetrate and enhance your stone and those that provide protection without deepening the color of the stone. Please read the application label of your chosen sealer and follow all safety recommendations.
